According to town records, 600 years ago the descendants of 김방경(kimbanggyeong) moved into this place from Andong village. There is a beautiful forest trails(1km in length) for taking a walk and trees have been placed for 600years. people called it "west forest" because it is placed west side of village.
- San chon village has a long history but almost building was destroyed in Japanese Invasion of Korea(1592). The oldest house is a Manchidang that was build in 1582. it's sign board was made by Han seockbong.
