서석지, Seoseokji

Seoseokji at ipammyeon youngyanggun Kyungpook is the villa of Jeongyoungbang(1577-1650). Seoseokji, with Soswaewon and Buyongwon are Soutn Korea's three gardens. Seoseokji means "an auspicious stone pond". There are a pavilion(represent the heart to honor), a Sawoodan(사우단, four kinds of friend, plum, pine, chrysanthemun and bamboo), a juiljae(library) and etc.
Seoseokji is the most beautiful  in mid-July which lotus bud open up.

대티골 아름다운 숲길, Daetigol beautiful forest

Just as you stroll the village daetigol has easy to walk forest trails.

Beginning at the entrance of the upper daetigol yetgukdogil (3.5km) is If the original January and bonghwagun yetgukdogil youngyanggun connecting to the property was Highway 31.

- Trecking road leading to the village (0.9km), yetmaeulgil (0.8km), daetigolgil (1.2km) a total of 7.6km, it takes 3-4 hours for Walking

영양 대티골 마을, Daetigol village

yonghaw2lee ilwonmyun youngyanggun kyoungbuk, located on the edge smooth and large deep ilwolsan daetigoleun living where nature truly clean. Yonghwari youngyanggun the original clause was yonghwasa bukchomyeonui area because the village is the name attached.

Daeti means a big head, once upon a deep valley from the north and west flowing water falling from the mountain. Villagers of 30 households, 44 persons only, but ecological pond (biotope) to create a natural sewage purification, eco-friendly farming dume with leeks, girincho molecules, herbs, such native vegetables planted gondalbi are raising.

Recently 'eco-town natural healing' named the village used a neat place to stay together you and other houses are newly built and attract tourists.

사촌마을, Sa chon village

According to town records, 600 years ago the descendants of 김방경(kimbanggyeong) moved into this place from Andong village. There is a beautiful forest trails(1km in length) for taking a walk and trees have been placed for 600years. people called it "west forest" because it is placed west side of village.

- San chon village has a long history but almost building was destroyed in Japanese Invasion of Korea(1592). The oldest house is a Manchidang that was build in 1582. it's sign board was made by Han seockbong.

고운사, koun temple

10월이면 단풍이 색색으로 물들어 고운사 숲길을 가득 채운다. 본래 구름 높은 절(高雲寺)이었던 고운사는 최치원이 가허루(駕虛樓)와 우화루(羽化樓)를 짓고 인연을 맺으며 그 이름도 고운사(孤雲寺, 외로운 구름, 최치원의 호)로 바뀌었다. 누각들의 이름에서 느껴지듯 고운사는 도가적 색채가 남다른 절이다. 고운사에서도 가장 유명한 가운루는 계곡 위에 뜬 배처럼 걸쳐져 있어 그 위에 서면 찬란한 산들과 구름의 바다 사이로 져근덧 날아올라 신선이라도 될 것만 같다.

Koun temple is made by Uisang daesa in 661. Koun temple has a long history. Colorful leaves in Octorber(autumn) fill the forest road of the koun temple. Original meaning of koun temple was high-cloud temple. But after Choichiwon 최치원(scholars of silla dynasty) built the Gaheoru and Woohwaru, the meaning of koun temple was changed to a lonely cloud, a pen name of Choichiwon. 

It works on temple stay program that is very various. 참선, 다도, 발우공양, drinking tea under the moon light, temple food, 300times deep bow etc...
